This is our way of thanking our US Veterans and Military for serving our country and Emergency Responders for serving our community.
We are offering FREE Reiki Sessions to the men and women who serve. During the hours of 10am and 7pm. We have several practitioners and students available to perform treatments. You can expect to spend about 1/2 hour in your session. If this is your first time, please show up a little early to fill out some paperwork.
A little about Reiki: Reiki is a spiritual, Japanese hands-on practice of energy healing. Currently this gentle, deeply relaxing hands-on technique is being practiced worldwide; with each session reducing stress and encouraging “self-healing” You don’t have to believe in anything to benefit from a Reiki session. You only have to be open minded enough to experience a session. Reiki supports the balance in your body, mind and spirit. It is often referred to as “universal life-force energy.” You will find Reiki treatments will relax the body, calm the mind and arouse the spirit. This promotes self healing of the body, at the physical and emotional levels. Don’t you think you owe yourself this benefit. It is said that stress causes so many of today’s illnesses, this is such a simple, yet powerful treatment.
What to expect: You will be asked to remove your shoes and be placed on a Reiki table, fully clothed (please wear loose comfortable clothing), a pillow will be placed under your knees and you will be covered with a blanket. You may have a scarf covering your eyes if desired. There will be low lights and soft music playing. Approximately four Reiki practitioners will gather around the table. Water will be provided after the session and there will be time to ask any questions or comment on the session.
